Conducting Search of the ACA IP Recordal Database

Establish the particulars of a recorded intellectual property right.

About this service

A person seeking to establish the particulars of any recorded Intellectual Property may search the IPR Recordal database.

Who is it for?

  • Anyone — Consumers, IPR Owners, Agents and Importers

What you'll need

  • A free AIMS account (any account type, including Consumer)
  • An IPR name, recordation number or other detail to search for

How it works

  1. 1Create your free AIMS account — the Consumer type takes under a minute — and sign in.
  2. 2Open Search IPR and search; the list of matching records is free to view.
  3. 3Choose a record and pay the search fee via e-Citizen to see its details.
  4. 4View the record: IPR name, recordation number, IPR type, status, and the dates of recordation and expiry.

All searches require an AIMS account — create a free account or sign in to begin.
